Hi Everyone!
We made it through our first week back at school! Things definitely look different but we were still able to have a great first week together!
Highlights of Our Day:
- For our eye opener today we did another scrabble, where we had to use the letters to find as many different words as we could. The mystery word. today was birthdays.
- In literacy today we created a title page showing the characters and some funny parts of our read aloud "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" by Judy Blume
- In math we finished our calendars from yesterday and practiced place value by creating the biggest number we could with dice. We were each given our own set of dice (between 3 and 4), we rolled the dice then had to create the largest number we could with the numbers we rolled. Dice will be sanitized before we use them again.
- In art today we worked on our finishing our masked self portraits that we started yesterday
Reminders:
- Our meeting spot each morning is on the soccer field, I will be out each morning for now to meet the students
- Please send a water bottle, the water fountains are unavailable at this time
- Please make sure your child has a pair of indoor shoes, to be left at school, and outdoor shoes.
- Please label your child's masks and personal items, such as water bottles and lunch kits
- Monday September 7th is Labour Day. No School
