Day 8: Birthday Graph

Hi Everyone,

Wow! Done another week already!!

Highlights of our Day:

  • For our eye opener this morning we practiced our cursive writing. Today we worked on writing our name in cursive writing
  • In math we did a birthday graph for our class. First, as a class we collected the number of birthdays each month. Then we labelled and numbered our graph. We discussed how we choose the best number interval for a graph. For this graph,  we choose to go up by ones because our highest number was 5. Then we drew the bars for each month and coloured the bars different colours. After we were done creating our graph we used the graph to answer questions
  • In literacy  we continued our read aloud of "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing". Today we read chapter 6 and then completed the worksheet we were given the other day. For chapter 6, we were given a picture where we had to describe what was happening in the picture and then colour it.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! :)
